Bye 2020 (I won't miss you)

Poinsettia Cocktail 

1/2 ounce ​orange liqueur
3 ounces ​cranberry or pomegranate juice
3​ ounces Champagne
Garnish: rosemary sprigs, fresh cranberries 


Chill all ingredients beforehand. 

Pour the Cointreau and cranberry juice into a chilled Champagne flute. 

Stir well. 

Top with Champagne.


Apple Cider Mimosa 

1 ounce ​apple cider
4​ ounces Prosecco or Champagne
Garnish: rosemary sprigs, fresh cranberries


Pour a small amount of apple cider into a shallow dish.  Mix cinnamon and sugar. 

Dip the rim of glass into cider, blot lightly on a paper towel, then dip into sugar mix. 

Pour the apple cider into a Champagne flute. Top with champagne and stir.


French 75 

1 ounce gin or vodka
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce  simple syrup
3 ounces  Champagne or Prosecco
Garnish: lemon twist


Pour gin/vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker with ice and shake until very cold.

Strain into champagne flute, top with champagne, and stir.

Garnish with lemon twist.
